ABC Class (Anybody’s Bible Class) is a group of all ages and all backgrounds lead by Rudy Mancke. Members of the class range from those who grew up in the church to those who recently joined our church family; despite any differences in background, this class is like a family reunion every Sunday. Meeting in the fellowship hall below the sanctuary, the class begins each week around 8:45 a.m. with fellowship over refreshments brought by members of the class. Around 9:20 a.m., the class begins with a prayer time by the discussing who, member or not, needs to be lifted up in our prayers. Because the class is large, there are “Link” captains in the class who keep up with what’s going on in their groups.  These captains help us meet the specific prayer needs of members, their families, and those who are in places disconnected from the church; this also helps us give praise reports on answered prayers.  After this time of prayer, Rudy begins the lesson with a nature study. Many times, members of the class will bring in little acorns, shed skins, or small creatures for Rudy to identify or talk about. This nature element is very unique to the ABC Class and it helps class members keep up with what nature is doing. The lesson is then taught by looking at scripture, analyzing who wrote it, why they wrote it, and the contextual circumstances surrounding the verses. During this time, class members are encouraged to give their opinions and interpretations. Because of the range of backgrounds brought to the class by its members, there are a lot of interesting points made in class. Our discussions create the sense that everyone is a teacher from one degree to another. We would love for you to join us this Sunday in the ABC Class for a wonderful time of fellowship and learning. If you have any questions about the class, please email emancke@sc.rr.com or call 803-794-8874.

Tyndale Men’s Class is an all men’s class with members ranging from 30 to 70 years of age. The mix of retired and active professionals creates a unique atmosphere for studying the books of the Bible because of the varied backgrounds and personalities within the class. Each Sunday, the class begins at 9:15 a.m. with coffee and fellowship, followed by announcements for church and community activities. Class members are also encouraged to share prayer concerns, an appeal that is driven by our love and care for each other.  Taught by Bob Malpass, this class studies the Bible one book at a time. We would love to have you join us this Sunday in Room 210-A of the New Education Building. If you have any questions, please contact Bob at malpass@aol.com or 803-794-1518.

Grace Ladies Class is an all women’s class of individuals with a genuine caring attitude and desire to serve. As a multi-age class of both retired and active professionals, our class brings together a wonderful blend of women from different vocations, ages and careers. In addition to ministering to class members when there is a need, our special project is to minister to those 85+ who are church members. We visit these members throughout the year with a small remembrance and we also send them cards on their birthday. Outside of Sunday School, we meet bi-monthly for fellowship, making gifts for the Senior Adults and going out to eat. As a Sunday School Class, we meet each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in Room 122 of the Old Education Building; our class is located just as you come into the front door located on the the Brookland-Cayce High School side of the building. Please join us this Sunday as we begin with a relaxed atmosphere of conversation and fellowship, followed by prayer requests and prayer, and then a Bible lesson taught by teacher Ann Malpass. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ann at malpassat@aol.com or 803-794-1518.
